I asked my Dad (who has been doing woodwork as a hobby for as long as I could remember) if he could make me a miniature surfboard for my Woody project.  One day a box arrived with 6 of them.  My Dad handcrafted these boards from scratch.  Each one is approximately 24" long with a beautiful gloss finish.  Each has it's own stand,  also handcrafted.   He called them "gopher boards" because they are so small that a gopher could ride them.  I liked the name and went with it.  He tried to talk me out of calling them gopher boards because it just didn't sound appealing.  NO WAY!  The less appealing, the more people want it.  Why be normal. (Love you Dad).  Gopher Boards rule!
